The course is ideal for anyone interested in gaining skills in Sign Language.

Course Content

> Introduction to British Sign Language - meeting people, numbers, directions
> Conversational British Sign Language - family, interests, weather
> British Sign Language at School, College or Work - travel, refreshments, exchange information

There are no formal entry requirements. We are looking at your enthusiasm and commitment to succeed.

Practical demonstration/assignment.
Assessment
Each unit is assessed in a one to one practical demonstration.

Qualifications Gained

Progression Opportunities

On completion of Sign Language an introduction students may wish to progress onto the
Sign Language Improvers.

This is a First Steps Course and is Free.

This is a non vocational course and is available to learners aged 19+.
