This course aims to enable learners to hold a conversation in BSL.

Who The Course is for

The course is ideal for anyone interested in gaining skills in British Sign Language.

Course Content

> Use the BSL alphabet
> Introduce yourself in BSL
> Talk about family and answers questions
> Use number
> Give descriptions
> Ask for and provide directions
> Use appropriate lip pattern
> Understand regional signs
> Talk about food/drink/eating out and answer questions
> Talk about various occupations and work situations

Entry Requirements

Students may have previously studied the Sign Language introduction.

Unit 1 - Watch a DVD and answer mulit-choice questions
Unit 2/3 One to one practical demonstration
