Who The Course is for
Aims of programme:
To build up and develop the skills acquires at GCSE with a strong emphasis on the listening and speaking skills. Reading and writing will have a supportive role (making notes, writing letters, practising grammar consolidation exercises, etc…).
Course Content
The course is taught around a number of language topics which enable students to extend their vocabulary and their command of language structures and grammar for listening and speaking purposes.
Students are also invited to suggest topics of interest and study.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course you will be able to:
? cope in practical situations
? cope in a conversation of a general nature in the foreign country of your choice.
Entry Requirements
This course is designed for students who have successfully completed the GCSE course or equivalent. The language is practised for the purpose of communication.
It is a consolidation course and provides a foundation for students wishing to progress in their language studies.
Learning & Assessment Methods
For the first session you will need to buy/bring:
A4 pad and pen. A folder or file to keep your work in. A dictionary is optional.

AS level French or other Adult Learning courses.

Students do not need to apply for this course.
Tuition fee £99.00 for 10 weeks.
This is a non vocational course and is available to learners aged 19+.
