Who The Course is for

Aims of programme:

To introduce the student to the skills of Image manipulation using Photoshop Elements 7.

Course Content

Learning Goals :Students will (in no particular order) be able to:

1. Identify the different elements of the Elements 7 workspace
2. Manipulate images using a variety of features and functions of Elements 7
3. Add colour and text to a black and white image
4. Have an understanding of layers
5. Be aware of different image file formats and image types
6. Save their work
7. Restore a damaged photograph
8. Use a variety of keyboard shortcuts
9. Have fun

Entry Requirements

The Photoshop Elements 7 course is aimed at learners with little or no experience in using the program. It is essential that learners are comfortable with using a computer keyboard and mouse and have a basic understanding of Windows.It is important that learners have a copy of Photoshop on their home computer (any version is suitable) as it is essential that they practise what they have learnt.

Learning & Assessment Methods

For the first session you will need to buy/bring:

A4 pad and pen. A folder or file to keep your work in. A Pen Drive to store your work.
