How To Apply

  • Decide which course you would like to study at West Lancashire College.
  • Confirm if you wish to apply for an apprenticeship, full time course or both. Please note, you DO NOT need to apply for part-time courses, for further details on enrolling to a part-time course please contact Course Enquiries on 01695 52300, Email: enquiries@westlancs.ac.uk
  • Complete the application form online or by downloading and printing the relevant pdf.
  • When we have received your application we will invite you to a general advice and guidance interview either in college or in school with a course adviser. Once you have had your general interview you will be invited for an interview with your course tutor.
  • You may be offered a conditional place in college which may be dependant on exam results, reference, college assessment and final interview at enrolment. We will then invite you to attend  a new student day commencing March 2011. These days offer a fantastic opportunity to meet your tutors and other new students and take part in a variety of subject activities.
  • In August we will invite you in on GCSE results day to confirm your results and complete your enrolment.
  • Your new course will start in early September.
