How To Apply

  • Decide which course you would like to study at Skelmersdale & Ormskirk College.
  • Confirm if you wish to apply for an apprenticeship, full time course or both.
  • Complete the application form online or by downloading and printing the relevant pdf.
  • When we have received your application we will invite you to an interview either in college or in school with a course adviser and subject to successful interview will offer you a conditional place at our college.
  • Once you have accepted your offer of a place you will be invited to college in July for a New Student Day. These days help you become more familiar with the college and your new place of study, you will get to meet your tutor and new friends, view facilities and find out more about college life.
  • In August we will invite you in on GCSE results day to confirm your results and complete your enrolment.
  • Your new course will start in early September.
