To qualify for the free training candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
• Working or living in Lancashire
• 16-18 years old
• Not be participating in any other funded training
• Complete 10 or more hours of training (1½ or 2 days)
• Must be working 16 hours per week or more
FAQ
Where will the training be?
Training will be at the Ormskirk or Skelmersdale Campus or can be in-house (dependant on numbers)
What about staff who do not meet the eligibility criteria?
For every 3 fully funded candidates who attend a course, we will offer the same training for staff, who do not meet the eligibility criteria, at reduced a cost of £30 pp (Normal cost per one-day course is £57.00)
Are there any other courses on offer?
Yes, we will be offering a wide range of free training courses throughout the rest of the year – including Team Leading, Customer Care, Conflict Management, Hospitality Skills, Image and Behaviour at Work etc. (the same eligibility criteria will apply) however funding may be subject to cuts.
