Skelmersdale & Ormskirk College has recently held a Feel Good Fair at the Westbank Campus’ Changing Images Hair & Beauty Salons, hosted by the Creative Studies Department which includes Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Theatrical Media Make-up, Nail Services and Complementary Therapies.
Over 150 children and adults visited the salons and were treated to free mini-treatments to help beat the winter blues, including; reflexology, massages, aromatherapy, facials and nail services whilst demonstrations were also taking place in theatrical media make-up and hairdressing.
Liz Peters, Creative Service Industries Cluster manager explained that “an excellent evening was had by all clients sampling the free mini treatments, while the learners themselves professionally delivered high standards of treatments.”
