Skelmersdale & Ormskirk College will be holding their annual Christmastime performance at 7.00pm on both Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 December 2009 at the Phoenix Theatre, Westbank Campus (Skelmersdale).
Hoping to emulate the success of last year’s ‘The Frog Princess’ the class of 2009 will perform a full length British pantomime, laden with legend, packed with puns and bulging with buffoonery.
“The fair kingdom of Camelot is under threat from the evil Black Knight, and King Arthur, his knights and the magician, Merlin, seem unable to avert disaster! Brave Justin, a humble stable boy with dreams of becoming a Knight of the Round Table is quick to step into the breach and accept the quest to rescue a princess and save the kingdom – with only the help of a court jester and a dotty dame.”
Tickets are on sale to the general public at a cost of £3.00. Those with NUS cards will be admitted for half price. For tickets please call the Phoenix Theatre Box Office on 01695 52329.
